Mobility
The Munich metropolitan region faces the challenge of balancing its dynamic growth with sustainable mobility. The growing demand for flexible, efficient, and sustainable transportation solutions underscores how crucial a modern mobility system is to the quality of life and economic vitality of the entire region. To meet these demands, existing services must be better connected, new technologies integrated, and modes of transportation intelligently combined.
This is precisely where EMM e. V. comes in: As a platform for exchange and collaboration, it brings together key stakeholders from local governments, business, academia, and public transit agencies. This ongoing dialogue generates valuable synergies that foster knowledge transfer and accelerate the implementation of innovative mobility projects. Examples include joint initiatives such as a unified public transit fare for the entire metropolitan region, or expert conferences on future-oriented topics like e-mobility and shared mobility, and not least as a partner of the International Building Exhibition Metropolitan Region Munich (IBA-M) with the IBA-Unit format.
Through its activities, EMM e. V. contributes to the sustainable, user-oriented, and efficient development of mobility in the Munich metropolitan region. On the following pages, you will find an overview of current projects and key areas of focus in the field of mobility. EMM e. V. is always open to questions, ideas, or project proposals—because sustainable mobility is best achieved together.
